AKIBA GO is a souvenir service for travelers using flights operated by other airlines departing from Narita Airport in Japan. Users select products in advance on a dedicated website and receive them at the airport as checked baggage on the day of departure. Purchased items are picked up at the JAL ABC counter in the North Wing of Narita International Airport Terminal 1, checked in as registered baggage at the check-in counter of the airline they are flying with, and then collected at the arrival airport in the same way as regular baggage.
This initiative follows “AKIBA ZIP,” a souvenir service exclusively for passengers on ZIPAIR flights that launched in December 2024. With the new service, the target is expanded to include passengers traveling on airlines other than ZIPAIR. International transfer passengers are not eligible to use the service.
The purchase deadline for products is three days before departure.
