ZIPAIR Tokyo has begun test sales of Saishunkan Pharmaceutical’s “Healthy Medicinal Soup Porridge.”
As part of a collaborative project between the two Japanese companies, the product is being sold with the aim of alleviating jet lag by offering meals designed “with a focus on biological rhythms,” based on insights from chrono-nutrition.
“Healthy Medicinal Soup Porridge” is a freeze-dried product made with Jerusalem artichoke, a superfood produced in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. It will be sold on all routes, limited to 2,000 servings. Based on the results, the companies will consider how to roll it out in full.
