Hawaii Tourism Authority Launches “Hawaii from Age 65” Project for Senior Travelers from Japan
The German National Tourist Board will carry out overseas promotion for the 2027 International Horticultural Exhibition (IGA 2027), after signing an agreement with IGA 2027 Ruhrgebiet.
IGA is one of the largest international horticultural exhibitions, held once every ten years. This will be the first time it is held in the Ruhr region (in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia) in Germany. Under the theme “The Future is in Bloom (Zukunft.Blüht),” it will take place from April 23 to October 17, 2027, and is expected to attract around 3.1 million visitors. During the exhibition period, more than 6,000 events, cultural programs, and hands-on activities will be offered.
Using its network spanning more than 30 markets worldwide, the German National Tourist Board will promote the event through special features on its official tourism website, information distribution via newsletters, and public relations activities targeting overseas media. In priority markets, it will also run cross-media campaigns, including social media initiatives and collaboration with travel agencies.
