Japan Airlines (JAL) has extended the applicable period for special handling of air tickets in response to the worsening situation in the Middle East, as of May 12.
It applies to itineraries that include flights to or from Doha and Dubai, for travel through August 1, with tickets issued by the airline on or before February 28.
If the reserved flight is canceled, a one-time change to an alternative flight or a refund will be offered. If the flight is not canceled, only refunds will be accepted.
JAL has decided to suspend flights on the Tokyo/Haneda–Doha route for departures through August 1 (local departure) from February 28.
