
JR Central and Oriental Land to Operate ‘Sparkling Dreams Shinkansen’ for Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary
Takamatsu Airport will resume its “udon broth tap” on May 20.
Even after the renewal, udon broth will continue to be served by pouring it directly from a tap. Aimed at visitors from outside Kagawa Prefecture and international travelers to Japan, the service is intended to raise awareness of the local brand and promote information about Kagawa.
This service began in July 2010 at “Sora no Eki Kagawa” (Sky Station Kagawa), offering hot broth, and in August 2019 started offering cold broth at “Shikoku Sora Ichiba” (Shikoku Air Market). The cold broth service was suspended in June 2024, and the hot broth service also ended in March due to the relocation of the arrival lobby, but the tap is being reinstalled in response to calls for its resumption.
The location is “Shikoku Sora Ichiba” on the second floor of the passenger terminal building. The broth is replenished in limited quantities twice a day, around 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
