Solaseed Air has announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2026, reporting a net profit of 811 million yen.
Operating revenue reached a record high of 55.3 billion yen, up 6.3% year-on-year. Operating profit was 2.0 billion yen (up 136%), and ordinary profit was 1.2 billion yen (up 51.5%). Net profit returned to the black.
As demand-stimulating measures, the airline continued to offer its “Solaseed Special” and “Child Fare Sale” promotions, while also implementing revenue management in line with demand trends to maximize passenger revenue. On the other hand, the on-time departure rate was 84.9% (down 2.1 points) due to factors such as weather and airport/airspace congestion during peak travel periods. The number of revenue passengers reached 2,406,904 (up 4.8%), a record high. The flight completion rate remained high at 99.4% (up 0.7 points).
For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the airline forecasts operating revenue of 55.7 billion yen, which is almost flat year-on-year (up 0.7%), but expects a significant profit decline, with operating profit of 900 million yen (down 55.6%) and ordinary profit of 200 million yen (down 83.9%). It cites factors including unstable international conditions, volatility in fuel prices and foreign exchange rates, and anticipated cost increases.
