
JAL Group Implements Special Ticket Measures Due to Approaching Typhoon No. 6
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will implement special measures for flight tickets due to the expected impact of Typhoon No. 6 on Japan.
As of noon on May 31, the special measures apply to flights to and from Okinawa/Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki from noon on May 31 through the last flight on June 2; flights to and from Saga, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima for the entire day on June 2; and flights to and from Tokushima, Takamatsu, Kochi, Matsuyama, and Miyazaki from noon on June 2 through the last flight of the day.
Tickets for the affected flights can be changed, rebooked, or refunded free of charge, regardless of the actual operational status of the flights.
ANA has already decided to cancel a total of 117 flights: 1 flight on May 31, 104 flights on June 1, and 12 flights on June 2, on routes to and from Okinawa/Naha, Ishigaki, and Miyako. All flights to and from these airports on June 1 will be cancelled for the entire day.
