Ohsho Food Service to Establish Wholly Owned Subsidiary in Australia
JR-Central Retailing Plus will hold the “Maruko and Coji-Coji Collaboration Campaign” from June 9 to July 6.
Using newly drawn illustrations of the popular Japanese characters “Chibi Maruko-chan” and “Coji-Coji,” the company will offer a total of 18 items, including collaboration ekiben (boxed meals sold at railway stations), food products, and original goods. If you purchase two Suntory beverages (excluding alcoholic drinks) at the same time, you will receive one original pin badge.
For the “Coji-Coji Ekiben,” the package, chopstick sleeve, and menu card will feature special campaign designs, and one A6-size clear file, randomly selected from five types, will be included. Original goods will include items such as “[Coji-Coji] Trading Mini Drawstring Pouch” and “[Maruko and Coji-Coji] Trading Acrylic Keychain.”
Examples of items handled include: “Coji-Coji Ekiben” (1,580 yen), “Noppo Pan Cream Chibi Maruko-chan” (189 yen), “[Coji-Coji] Trading Mini Drawstring Pouch” (880 yen), “[Coji-Coji] Trading Mini Drawstring Pouch Box” (5,280 yen), and “[Coji-Coji] Mascot ‘Playing Train’ with Carabiner” (2,860 yen). All prices include tax.
Sales will be conducted at “PLUSTA,” “Bellmart,” “Bellmart Kiosk,” “Grand Kiosk,” “Gift Kiosk,” “Kiosk,” “Precious Deli,” “Precious Deli & Gift,” and “Delica Station” shops located between Tokyo Station and Shin-Osaka Station (including conventional train lines). The ekiben will be available at Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Shin-Osaka stations. Some items will be sold only at select stores, and the official online shop will offer them from 10:00 a.m. on June 16 until stocks run out.
