Lufthansa German Airlines will expand the number of routes operated with aircraft featuring its new cabin specification, “Lufthansa Allegris,” by 11 routes in the winter schedule.
The airline will newly deploy the product on the Frankfurt–Vancouver, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, Detroit, San Jose, Seoul/Incheon, and Kuala Lumpur routes, as well as the Munich–Singapore, Washington, and Cape Town routes.
The “First Class Suite Plus” is approximately 1 meter wide and features heating and cooling functions that can be adjusted according to passenger preference. Smartphones can be connected to the inflight entertainment system. With walls and doors that extend up to the ceiling, it becomes a completely private suite.
Business Class offers five seat types. The front-row “Suite” with doors ensures privacy with high partitions and sliding doors. In the center section, the partition between the two adjacent seats can be raised or lowered, making it suitable for passengers traveling together. The monitors are 27-inch large screens with 4K resolution. While seats other than those in the first row are not equipped with doors, the staggered configuration creates a private feel. The center “Extra Space Seat” provides desks on both sides on which items can be placed, making it well-suited for business use. The “Extra Long Bed” offers a bed length of 2.2 meters; the “Privacy Seat” is by the window and offers enhanced privacy; and the “Classic Seat” faces the aisle.
Lufthansa German Airlines is introducing “Lufthansa Allegris” on its Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
