Japan Airlines (JAL) will offer a “Limited-Time 1,000 Yen Campaign” for its same-day baggage delivery service from June 20 to 30.
For arriving flights at Sapporo/New Chitose, Tokyo, and Tokyo/Haneda, the service, which normally costs 2,800 yen per item, will be available for 1,000 yen.
Eligible flights are those arriving by noon for Sapporo/New Chitose and by 1:00 p.m. for Tokyo/Haneda. The delivery areas are hotels in Chuo and Kita wards in Sapporo for Sapporo/New Chitose arrivals, and Tokyo’s 23 wards, Urayasu City in Chiba Prefecture (around Maihama and Shin-Urayasu stations), and certain hotels in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture for Tokyo/Haneda arrivals.
With the same-day baggage delivery service, travelers can check their baggage at the departure airport counter and head straight to their destination after arrival without picking up their luggage. Delivery of baggage is scheduled by around 7:00 p.m. on the same day. Baggage size is limited to a total of 180 centimeters for the three dimensions, and up to 30 kilograms per item.
