Kura Sushi to Open First Southeast Asia Location in Bangkok in 2027
JR East Service Creation, JR-Central Retailing Plus, and JR-West Food Service Network will jointly launch an original “Sujahta Ice Cream (La France Pear from Yamagata Prefecture)” for sale on Shinkansen trains and other locations from July 1.
Made with juice from La France pears grown in Yamagata Prefecture and combined with Hokkaido cream containing 10% milk fat, the ice cream is designed to highlight the pear’s naturally rich aroma and refined sweetness. This is the fourth installment of the joint project, and attendants and Shinkansen pursers from each company selected this year’s flavor.
Prices are 520 yen for in-train sales and mobile order service, 440 yen from vending machines and stores, and 4,950 yen for a box of 6 or 6,180 yen for a box of 11 from the official JR-PLUS online shop. All prices include tax.
