All Nippon Airways (ANA) has postponed the renewal of its international in-flight duty-free pre-order service. It was originally scheduled for July 15.
ANA said that additional time is needed for final adjustments to ensure customers can use the new features more comfortably and safely. The airline will provide further information once the timing for the renewal has been determined.
Following the renewal, passengers will no longer need to have booked a flight ticket to browse products on the pre-order website. The ordering period will be changed to from 45 days to 2 days before departure, or 3 days before departure for flights departing outside Japan. Payment will be accepted only by credit card or debit card. Card information will be entered when placing the order, and payment will be processed after the products are received on board.
