International Garden Hotel Narita is holding its “Casual Afternoon Tea for Parents and Children” from July 21 through August 31.
A gold circular stand features nine varieties of sweets: watermelon roll cake, melon shortcake, mango tart, coconut rare cheesecake, chocolate mint cake, melon panna cotta, blue lychee jelly, cornet pastry, and macarons. One stand is shared by each parent-and-child pair, while savory items—including chilled cappellini, tuna mousse with cherry tomato compote, and panini sandwiches—are served in portions for two.
Approximately 30 self-service drink options are available, including tea, herbal tea, coffee, café latte, and juice.
The afternoon tea is served at the first-floor restaurant, AVANTI, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays only. Reservations are required and accepted until 9:00 p.m., two days before the visit. The parent-and-child set costs 3,500 yen. For parties with two or more children, an additional 3,000 yen applies for each child from the second onward. All prices include tax and service charges.
