
Odakyu’s Veteran 8000 Series Transferred to Seibu Railway, Begins Operations on Kokubunji Line in Late May
JR Kyushu resumed operations on the Kyushu Shinkansen between Hakata and Chikugo-Funagoya stations at around 5 p.m.
Services had been suspended due to the Kumamoto earthquake that occurred at around 4:27 p.m. on July 28. Trains are operating at a reduced frequency compared with normal.
Services between Chikugo-Funagoya and Kagoshima-Chuo stations will be suspended for the entire day. JR Kyushu aims to resume operations between Chikugo-Funagoya and Kumamoto stations as early as tomorrow, July 30.
