JR East Suspends Kitakami Line Service Between Hotto Yuda and Yokote
Trenitalia France has ordered 19 high-speed trainsets from Hitachi Rail.
The company will expand its transportation operations across Europe. It will launch services between Paris and London in 2029, while strengthening its presence on routes linking Paris with Lyon, Milan, and Marseille. The investment totals €2 billion and includes maintenance and technical support.
The new trains will feature completely redesigned interiors, high-speed Wi-Fi of up to 10 Gbps, a new bistro concept, and catering services.
A new maintenance facility is under construction in Maisons-Alfort-Pompadour, a suburb of Paris. It will have the maintenance capacity needed to expand the fleet and operate international trains.
Trenitalia France is a subsidiary of FS International.
