EVA Air will operate charter flights on the Asahikawa–Taipei/Taoyuan route from September through October.
A total of 20 flights, comprising 10 round trips, will operate on September 23 and 27, and October 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, and 29. The two flights on the first and final days will be ferry flights. Airbus A321 aircraft will be used.
The flights will operate as inbound charter services, with tour packages available from Taiwan for travel around the Asahikawa area in Hokkaido, Japan.
Hokkaido Airports, the operator of Asahikawa Airport, secured the service by utilizing past data, conducting promotional activities with local governments, and coordinating fuel supplies.
