
JR Central Operates First Overnight Tokaido Shinkansen Service, the Tokaido Lumiere Express
JR East continues to suspend services on several lines in Chiba Prefecture.
Services are expected to resume at around 5 p.m. between Chiba-Minato and Soga stations on the Keiyo Line; in the evening between Kisarazu and Awa-Kamogawa stations on the Uchibo Line, between Kazusa-Ichinomiya and Awa-Kamogawa stations on the Sotobo Line, and between Chiba and Narita Airport stations on the Narita Line; and at around 8 p.m. between Yotsukaido and Sakura stations on the Sobu Main Line.
In addition, services will remain suspended for the entire day between Chiba and Kisarazu stations on the Uchibo Line, between Kisarazu and Kazusa-Kameyama stations on the Kururi Line, between Chiba and Kazusa-Ichinomiya stations on the Sotobo Line, and between Oami and Naruto stations on the Togane Line.
The Narita Express, Wakashio, and Shiosai limited express services will be canceled for the entire day.
