DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle will offer its “Chestnut and Muscat Castle Afternoon Tea” from September 1 through November 15.
Sweets made with chestnuts and muscats are served on a three-tier stand. The top tier features the “Japanese Chestnut Mousse Castle Cake,” depicting Osaka Castle with Japanese chestnut mousse and a green sablé biscuit. The middle and bottom tiers include the “Marron Mont Blanc,” combining dark chocolate terrine with Japanese chestnut paste; “Muscat Shortcake,” made with muscat-infused cream; and “Muscat Jelly and Yogurt Bavarois.” Savory items include a “Mini Mushroom Cream Croquette Burger” with figs and balsamic sauce, “Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Mont Blanc,” and “Pumpkin Gratin.” For an additional charge, guests can also order the “Reward Muscat Parfait,” layered with muscat jelly, ice cream, and rose-shaped ganache cream.
The afternoon tea is served at Lounge & Bar SEN (Boat) on the sixth floor. It is available from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a 120-minute seating limit. The price is 6,000 yen, including tax and service charge. Advance reservations are required, with only 30 servings available per day.
