Japan Airlines (JAL) will offer Hiyama Sukiyaki Kappo’s “Japanese Black Wagyu Sukiyaki Set Meal” as an EXPRESS MEAL in international business class from September 1 through February 28, 2027.
Hiyama Sukiyaki Kappo is a restaurant operated by a long-established butcher shop founded in 1912. It opened at a time when beef dishes were not yet part of everyday dining in Japan, and has fostered Japan’s wagyu culture together with its customers while surviving the hardships of war. Using time-honored techniques passed down through generations, it serves traditional sukiyaki that brings out the best qualities of its ingredients. It has five locations in Nihonbashi, Tokyo; Niseko, Hokkaido; Hong Kong; and Taiwan.
The meal was also offered from September 2024 to February 2025 and from September 2025 to February 2026, making this its third offering. Reservations are accepted until 25 hours before departure. Eligible routes are medium- and long-haul services to Europe, the Americas, and Asia departing from Tokyo/Haneda and Tokyo/Narita. Excluded are certain extra and charter flights, tour reservations, bookings under other airlines’ flight numbers, and flights with waitlisted reservations. (Image: JAL)
