Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is offering an ‘Afternoon Tea Summer’ themed around “summer” until September 15.
The afternoon tea features petit fours made with fruits and ingredients such as passion fruit, mango, and coconut, and savories like sea vegetable and isaki (grunt) jelly, scallops with quinoa and summer vegetables. Additionally, approximately 20 types of drinks including the ‘Mandarin Oriental Tokyo Blend Tea’, seasonal limited teas, green teas, and tea mocktails are available.
The venue is the ‘Oriental Lounge’ on the 38th floor. Service hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a 2-hour limit. The price is 7,480 yen on weekdays and 8,580 yen on weekends and holidays, tax included, service charge not included.
On August 30 and 31, the ‘Afternoon Tea Summer’ will be accompanied by a ‘Champagne High Tea’ where guests can enjoy a free flow of eight types of champagne selected by a sommelier.
