
Yamanote Line and Keihin-Tohoku Line Major Suspension on April 19-20: Caution for Weekend Outings
JR Tokai has announced its operational plans for the Tokaido Shinkansen in response to the approaching Typhoon No. 10.
From August 27 to 28, there is a possibility that the entire Tokaido Shinkansen line or parts of it may be suspended or subject to long-term operational holds.
JR Tokai advises passengers to pay close attention to future weather reports and train operation status and to consider any schedule changes that may be necessary. Ticket changes and refunds for these two days will be processed without fees.
