
American Airlines Introduces Boeing 777 Aircraft on Tokyo/Haneda-Dallas-Los Angeles Routes, Increases Premium Class by 45%
The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has renamed its ARJ21 aircraft model to C909.
The announcement was made on November 12th during the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition held in Zhuhai, China. The C909 aircraft, which initiated commercial operations in 2016, has had 150 units delivered so far. It is designed to accommodate various layouts including a two-class configuration with 78 seats, a single-class configuration with either 90, 95, or 97 high-density seats, and is capable of operating in extremely cold temperatures, high-temperature environments, and high-altitude areas.
With this change, COMAC’s lineup of civilian aircraft models now uniformly consists of the C909, C919, and C929.
