Tokyu Toyoko Line Holds Half-Price Campaign for Reserved Seating ‘Q SEAT’ Starting November 13
Tokyu Corporation will hold a ‘Try It at Half-Price Campaign’ where passengers can purchase the Tokyu Toyoko Line’s reserved seating service ‘Q SEAT’ for half the usual price.
The 5050 series trains will convert seats in cars 4 and 5 from longitudinal to cross-seating, creating a total of 90 seats. These seats provide more space than the existing train seats and come with the conveniences of power outlets and cup holders, as well as free Wi-Fi.
The service will be offered on five express trains a day running from Shibuya to Motomachi-Chukagai, with the section between Shibuya and Kikuna stations operating as the paid reserved seating zone, and the section from Yokohama to Motomachi-Chukagai station as the free boarding zone. The designated seating fee during the campaign period will be a flat rate of 250 yen for both adults and children (normally 500 yen).
The campaign will run on weekdays from November 13 to December 29. Please note that the ‘Q SEAT’ service on the Oimachi Line is not included in this campaign.
