Unlimited Train Travel in Hokkaido & Eastern Japan for 7 Days: Hokkaido & East Japan Pass for 11,330 Yen
JR East and JR Hokkaido will offer the “Hokkaido & East Japan Pass” in the spring season.
This pass allows unlimited travel on regular and rapid trains’ non-reserved seats and BRT for 7 consecutive days on all JR East lines, JR Hokkaido lines, Aoimori Railway lines, IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway lines, and Hokuhoku Line.
If using the Shinkansen or limited express trains, a ticket and limited express ticket for the section used are required. However, between Shin-Aomori and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto stations on the Hokkaido Shinkansen, only for mutual departures and arrivals within these stations, a specific limited express ticket can be purchased separately to use available seats in the ordinary car. Additionally, on the Ou Main Line between Aomori and Shin-Aomori stations, only for mutual departures and arrivals within this section, ordinary non-reserved seats on limited express and express trains and all reserved seats on regular and rapid trains can be used. On the Sekisyo Line between Shintoku and Shin-Yubari stations, and on the Muroran Main Line between Higashi-Muroran and Muroran stations, only for mutual departures and arrivals within these sections, ordinary car reserved seats on limited express and express trains can be used.
The price is 11,330 yen for adults and 5,660 yen for children. The sales period is from February 13 to March 25, and the usage period is from February 22 to March 31.
