
JR East Releases ‘Kyun Pass’: Unlimited Rides for ¥10,000 on Weekdays Including Shinkansen, Plus New Two-Day Option
JR Kyushu has started selling the “JR Kyupo Special Ticket” from January 22.
This is a one-way combined ticket of a train ticket and express ticket that can be exchanged from JR Kyupo points. The required points for major sections (for adults, reserved seats departing from Hakata Station) are 2,500 points for Kumamoto Station (usually 5,230 yen), 3,000 points for Nagasaki Station (6,050 yen), 5,000 points for Kagoshima Chuo Station (10,640 yen), and 5,000 points for Miyazaki Station (via Kagoshima Chuo Station, 14,730 yen), etc.
Green cars are not available. Tickets for children are also offered, requiring half the points of those for adults. Tickets are available through JR Kyushu Internet Reservation and JR Kyushu App. To use the ticket, it is necessary to receive it at a JR Kyushu station.
