IHG Hotels & Resorts will open the “ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Okinawa Uruma Hills” on March 1st.
A management contract has been signed with BHR Okinawa Management, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s Berjaya Land, to rebrand the former Ansa Okinawa Resort.
The building is 6 stories above ground and 1 underground, located in a spot overlooking the East China Sea and the Pacific Ocean. It has 123 rooms, offering 9 types ranging from standard to suite rooms, with a modern taste incorporating the warmth of wood and essence of Ryukyu culture into its natural design.
The facilities include two dining venues, “Surya Cafe” for all-day dining and the lobby lounge “Nadine”, as well as an outdoor pool, gym, large public bath with sauna, karaoke room, meeting room, banquet hall, and parking. It is approximately a 45-minute drive from Naha Airport.
As IHG, this will be their third hotel development in Okinawa following ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach Resort and ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki Resort.
