Yokohama Royal Park Hotel to Reopen in Fiscal Year 2028 as Marriott’s “Luxury Collection”
Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto has renamed its main dining venue from “Ember Kyoto Chophouse” to “Ember Kyoto Grill,” reopening on April 1.
The restaurant offers a variety of ingredients, including aged meat, seafood sourced from nearby waters, and seasonal vegetables from across Japan, available in both course meals and à la carte options. The renovation features the introduction of a high-performance Spanish Josper Grill and cherry wood for the terrace seating area overlooking the pond garden ‘Shakusui-en.’ Modern furniture from the Spanish brand Kettal has also been added.
During the spring, a mist effect will be performed in the garden every morning and evening. To commemorate the renovation, a collaboration with the Kyoto craft gin brand “Ki no Bi” will host a pop-up bar until May 8. The bar offers three original cocktails: the “Matcha Gin Tonic” combining matcha-infused gin tonic, the “Hanami Spritz” with Kyoto plum liqueur “Ki no Ume” and Hokkaido haskap finished with rosé champagne, and the botanical cocktail “In The Pink” (each priced at 3,200 yen).
Operating hours are 7:00 am to 10:30 am for breakfast, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm for lunch, and 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm for dinner. Terrace seating fees for non-hotel guests are 6,000 yen for a “Premium Garden Sofa Table” seating up to four people, and 2,000 yen for a “Terrace Table” for up to two people.
