Hilton Tokyo Bay will host the dessert buffet “NEO SHOWA POP!” on weekends and holidays from April 19 to June 15.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary since the first year of the Showa era, the event combines glamorous decorations reminiscent of Showa idol stages with modern fan culture, offering about 35 kinds of desserts and savory dishes.
Desserts include the “I’m an Idol! Fluffy Skirt Dress Cake,” which layers yogurt mousse, strawberry sauce, and grapefruit jelly on a cookie base inspired by Showa idol costumes; the “Tropical Fruit Bavarois,” featuring a smooth texture and rich flavors from bananas, passion fruits, and mangoes; and the “Showa Hit Record Chocolate Setoka Tart,” decorated with small round white chocolates to represent the center label of a record.
Savory options include open-faced potato salad sandwiches with a crispy grilled finish, cheese balls served with chilled tomato sauce, and Napolitan pasta. Drinks feature about 20 options at the drink bar, with the “Neo Furu ~NEO Colorful Drink~” available for an additional 950 yen, layered with crushed pineapple jelly and topped with tangy frozen yogurt.
The location is on the lobby floor at “lounge O.” Serving times are at noon, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3 PM, with each session lasting 2 hours. Prices are 4,700 yen for adults, 2,600 yen for ages 9-12, and 1,800 yen for ages 4-8, including tax and service charges.
