OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts is offering a new experience ‘Hover Into LOVE, EXPO’ until October 13.
‘Hover Into LOVE, EXPO LIVE!’ provides the latest information on the Expo as the first installment. It collaborates with SkyDrive, which plans demonstration flights of flying cars at the Osaka/Kansai Expo, by displaying the piloted test aircraft ‘SD-03’, which succeeded in Japan’s first public manned demo flight in August 2020, inside the facility, and offering an experience of boarding the display aircraft.
The ‘What is Naniwa Lecture: The World of Expo from a Maniac’s Perspective’ invites Hideo Fujii and Atsushi Futagami, known as Expo maniacs, every other week to share a unique perspective on enjoying the Expo. The lecture not only recommends pavilions and food but also suggests the best visiting times and introduces three encounters to enjoy at the Expo.
The ‘Let’s Go, A True Shinsakai Stroll ~EXPO Special~’ is a guided tour with a local guide OMO Ranger through Shinsakai, offering a special tour that travels back in time 122 years to the 5th National Industrial Exhibition, said to be linked to the 1970 Osaka Expo, while uncovering the unknown connections between Shinsakai and the Expo through history and culture.
Additionally, the program offers the ‘EXPO Connection Exhibition’, which displays replicas of guide maps, admission tickets, and brisk walking maps used at the 5th National Industrial Exhibition, as well as ‘EXPO Support’ to propose ways to enjoy the Expo.
