SkyWest Airlines has placed a firm order for 60 Embraer E175 aircraft.
In addition to the firm order of 60 aircraft, there are options for 50 more. Deliveries will commence in 2027.
SkyWest Airlines is the world’s largest operator of this type of aircraft, with a fleet of 263. The existing backlog of orders was 16 aircraft. It operates regional routes under contract from United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and Alaska Airlines.
