
Batik Air Malaysia Plans to Launch Osaka/Kansai to Kuala Lumpur Route, Approved by MAVCOM
Air India will partially cancel flights on the Tokyo/Haneda-Delhi route until August 31.
Following a crash near Ahmedabad Airport and based on directives from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India, inspection of its Boeing 787 aircraft is underway, resulting in a 15% reduction on long-range routes.
The newly canceled flights include those departing Tokyo/Haneda on July 18, 25, August 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, and 29, with corresponding Delhi departures the previous day. Flights from Tokyo/Haneda will be canceled on Mondays in the first half of July and on Mondays and Fridays thereafter. Passengers will be offered alternative flights or refunds.
In addition, routes to and from San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Washington, Vancouver, Toronto, Birmingham, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Milan, Copenhagen, Tel Aviv, Nairobi, Yangon, Seoul/Incheon, Sydney, and Melbourne, as well as some domestic routes in India, will be affected.
