Japan Airlines (JAL) will end the advance application for mileage exchange lounge coupons at 6 p.m. on July 31.
While there are currently two exchange methods for mileage exchange lounge coupons—advance application on the website and same-day exchange at the airport—from the same date, only same-day exchange will be available. On the day of boarding, coupons can be exchanged at the lounge reception in domestic and international Sakura Lounges, and at check-in counters for other overseas lounges.
With same-day exchange, you can exchange in units of one coupon. The required mileage for international lounges is 2,000 miles per coupon, and for domestic lounges, 1,000 miles per coupon. Already issued advance application lounge coupons can be used until their printed expiration date.
