The Sapporo Prince Hotel will hold the ‘Summer Hokkaido Fair’ from July 1 to August 31.
Under the theme “Another trip to Hokkaido,” the hotel will offer dishes divided into periods for the four areas of Hokkaido: South, North, Central, and East. Popular menu items from local eateries will be available for a limited time, and there will also be outdoor markets and food trucks.
Examples from the lunch menu include “Kuroshitsuai Camembert Cheese Canapé,” “Gratin using Hakodate Milk,” “Haboro Amaebi Cocktail,” “Asahikawa Black Soy Sauce Ramen,” “Gratin using Yamanaka Milk,” “Hayakita Camembert Cheese,” “Akkeshi Clam Vongole Bianco,” and “Okhotsk Salt Yakisoba.” Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Prices are 3,500 yen for adults, 3,200 yen for Gold Age (65 and older), 1,700 yen for elementary school students, and 1,100 yen for preschool children (ages 4 to preschool).
Dinner menu examples include “Shirasu of Hikoma Pork,” “Butter Sautéed Scallops from Funka Bay with Southern Hokkaido Vegetables,” “Paella with Sarufutsu Scallops and Aibetsu Mushrooms,” “Furano Melon Mont Blanc,” “Low-Temperature Roast of Urausu Jinai Wagyu Beef,” “Bibai Yakitori-style Chicken Sauté,” “Rausu Octopus Shabu-shabu,” and “Nakashibetsu Chicken Breast Herb Crumb Bake.” Dinner is served from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prices are 6,000 yen for adults, 5,700 yen for Gold Age, 2,900 yen for elementary school students, and 1,800 yen for preschool children.
All prices include tax and service charge. Prices change from August 9 to 17.
