InterContinental Hotel Osaka Offers Summer Sweets Featuring Seasonal Peaches and Melons
Halekulani has established two luxury suites, “The Bungalow” and “The Penthouse.”
The Bungalow is a modern and luxurious reinterpretation in homage to the hotel’s original bungalows from the early 1900s. The entrance and veranda, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century, are adorned with handcrafted glass lanterns and custom trellis woodwork covered with Thunbergia Fragrans by skilled carpenters. It offers direct access to the Orchid Pool and a view from the private patio and cabana. It also features a bedroom seamlessly connected to the bathroom, and a curated private art collection including works by local ceramic artist Christopher Edwards. Designed by New York architecture firm Champalimaud.
The Penthouse is characterized by a spacious living space, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a lanai with panoramic ocean views. Vintage art from Honolulu’s antique shop “Hound & Quail” decorates the space, along with a retro record player and a curated record collection. It also includes a private tiki bar and dedicated mixologist, a master suite with a spacious bathroom, and an outdoor entertainment area accommodating up to 12 guests.
General Manager David Barnes commented, “We are very pleased to introduce The Bungalow and The Penthouse. These new suites further enhance our collection of elevated accommodations reflecting the extraordinary luxury and hospitality for which our hotel is world-renowned. The new premier suites are designed with attention to detail to provide discerning guests with the utmost comfort and satisfaction, offering an unforgettable experience.”
They are added to the premium suite collection consisting of the Royal Suite, Orchid Suite, and Halekulani Suite. Rates start from 5,000 USD per night.
