Hotel Metropolitan began selling original goods featuring the Suica Penguin from August 1 at 2 p.m.
Two kinds are available: a 100% cotton “Suica Penguin T-shirt” (3,000 yen), which features the Suica Penguin peeking out from a chest pocket while eating a watermelon, and a “Suica Penguin Face Towel & Canvas Tote Bag Set” (3,500 yen) designed with a summery Suica Penguin. The T-shirt comes in size L. The face towel is blue and white, depicting the Suica Penguin and a baby penguin enjoying summer. The canvas tote bag features a botanical pattern with the Suica Penguin’s face drawn into it.
Sales are conducted through the Metropolitan Hotels Shop, which is featured on the “JRE MALL” website operated by JR East. All prices are tax-included. An additional 783 yen is charged for shipping. ((C)C.S/JR East/D)
