The Westin Miyako Kyoto will offer the “Summer Strawberry Parfait” from August 1 to 31.
The parfait features a sugar craft topped with gold leaf and pentas flowers. It is layered with various forms of summer strawberries grown in cool highland areas, such as sorbet, jelly, and chantilly. Guests can enjoy two kinds of sorbet, strawberry and yogurt, a macaron filled with strawberry-flavored chocolate cream, three types of berries marinated in Kirsch, panna cotta, and visually appealing round-cut strawberry slices. The final touch includes a hint of citrus jelly.
The parfait is available at the tea lounge “Mayfair” on the second floor. It is served from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The price is 3,200 yen, including tax and service charge.
