Odakyu Resorts opened “EDIT BY SEVEN Fuji Gotemba” on September 1.
The main building has 10 stories, and the adjacent dog-friendly wing has three stories. There are 49 rooms across nine types, including six pet-friendly rooms. All rooms have balconies, and Mount Fuji can be seen from rooms on the 4th floor and above. Options include layouts accommodating up to eight guests and some rooms with in-room saunas.
Facilities include a private-use sauna for up to eight people (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; five two-hour time slots). The fee is 12,000 yen on weekdays and 14,000 yen on weekends and national holidays (same rate for up to two people; 2,000 yen per additional person thereafter). The rooftop dog run on the dog-friendly building operates from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in winter). Overnight guests can also use a hypoxic gym simulating an altitude of 2,500 meters free of charge.
At the first-floor dining venue “BASE445,” offerings include open-faced sandwiches (1,980 yen), bruschetta with Amela tomatoes (1,100 yen), and beef tendon Bolognese pasta (1,925 yen). Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for breakfast and 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for dinner and bar service; last orders are 30 minutes before closing. Takeout to guest rooms is available.
Room rates start at 38,000 yen per room per night (tax included).
