Philippine Airlines to deploy newly configured Airbus A321 on Tokyo/Haneda–Manila route
Uzbekistan Airways will acquire up to 22 Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The breakdown is 14 firm orders and 8 options. This is the largest order in the company’s history and will strengthen its position as an air hub in Central Asia and further enhance global connectivity.
The carrier already operates Boeing 787-8s on routes to Europe, Asia, and the United States. Introducing the 787-9 will increase capacity, and the extended range will enable further expansion of long-haul routes.
Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visiting the United States for the UN General Assembly, celebrated the order alongside executives from Uzbekistan Airways and Boeing.
