Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort (Okinawa, Japan) will host “Halloween Afternoon Tea — Welcome to the Witch’s Tea Party” from October 1 to 31.
Sweets include nine varieties such as “Forest Monster Mash,” “Smiling Skull Tart,” “Spider Sweet Potato Macaron,” “Fig and Walnut Magic Pound Cake,” “Ghost-Loving Caramel Mousse,” and “Graveyard Pumpkin Pudding.” Savories feature four items, including fig and mozzarella pinchos inspired by a spiderweb; a marinade of Okinawa Wagyu beef and abalone mushrooms in a jack-o’-lantern motif; and “Miyakojima Pumpkin and Blue Cheese Quiche.” Scones include the black “Witch’s Freshly Baked Black Scones,” served with Miyakojima dragon fruit jam and Yukishio (snow salt) butter. Beverages number 13 varieties, such as wild strawberry rooibos tea, dragon fruit herbal tea, and pineapple jasmine tea.
Location is the 2nd-floor Lobby Lounge “Saryo.” Service hours are from noon to 5:00 p.m. Price is 5,500 yen, tax and service charge included.
