Memolead Group will open ESSENCE KARUIZAWA in the summer of 2026 in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
The property will offer 12 rooms in total: 9 guest rooms and 3 suites. Every room will feature a private sauna and a terrace. The on-site restaurant, supervised by chef Zaiyu Hasegawa of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Den, will serve Japanese cuisine using fresh ingredients from Karuizawa.
Access: Approximately 10 minutes by car from the Usui-Karuizawa Interchange (IC), and about 5 minutes by car from JR Karuizawa Station.
