Malaysia Airlines will revise the qualification requirements for elite status in its Enrich loyalty program, effective January 1, 2026.
The base accrual rate for Enrich Points is 1.5 points; the bonus accrual for elite members will be enhanced, with Platinum members earning up to 2.5 points per MYR 1 spent.
More Elite Points can be earned on medium- and long-haul routes of 1,201 miles or more and in premium cabins. When flying with Oneworld member airlines, Premium Economy will be treated as Economy Class, and First Class will be treated as Business Suite.
In addition, Elite Points can be earned through Points + Cash bookings, seat upgrades, hotel bookings via Enrich Hotels, and spending on co-branded credit cards.
Separately, for the 2027 membership year, the number of points required to qualify for elite status will be set at 25 points for Silver, 70 points for Gold, and 140 points for Platinum.
