Skymark Unveils Livery Design for Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 Aircraft
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will refurbish the Embraer E195-E2 aircraft operated by KLM Cityhopper.
Four seats will be added in economy class, increasing the total number of seats to 136. This will be achieved by downsizing the galley and optimizing the arrangement of equipment, and will also reduce the annual weight of in-flight meals by 500 kilograms.
Refurbishment will be carried out on a total of 22 aircraft through June 2026, at a pace of one aircraft every five business days. The project is expected to improve profitability and contribute to reductions in per-passenger carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption.
