easyJet to Complete Sharklet Retrofit on Airbus A320ceo Fleet by Summer
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has postponed the ferry flight of its special livery aircraft “C-3PO ANA JET” (Boeing 777-200, registration: JA743A), which was created under a project in collaboration with the Star Wars film franchise.
Originally, the aircraft was scheduled to depart for Taipei Songshan Airport at 6:30 a.m. today, January 12, to be repainted in the standard ANA livery. Around 9:00 a.m., it was towed to a stand near the hangar and has been parked there. Taipei Songshan Airport initially posted on Instagram that the flight was “canceled,” but later updated the status to “postponed, time undecided.”
The aircraft operated its final commercial service as Flight NH270 from Fukuoka to Tokyo/Haneda on January 9, and on the following day, January 10, ANA held the “ANA STAR WARS PROJECT Final Event” in a hangar at Tokyo Haneda Airport.
