Sichuan Airlines will reduce flights on the Tokyo/Narita – Chengdu/Tianfu route from January 26.
The airline is currently operating 6 round trips per week, excluding Wednesdays. From that date, Monday flights will also be suspended. The route is operated with Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 6 hours and 10 minutes from Tokyo/Narita, and 4 hours and 35 minutes from Chengdu/Tianfu.
Sichuan Airlines had already reduced this route to 6 round trips per week from January 7. In addition, the Osaka/Kansai – Chengdu/Tianfu route has been reduced to 3 round trips per week from December 1, 2025, as noted in this reduction announcement.
