Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort to open April 1, 2026
Tobu Railway, Tobu Top Tours, and Nishigaki will open “Granfill Resorts Tobu” in March on land adjacent to Tobu Zoo in Japan.
The site area is approximately 21,350 square meters, and there are a total of 15 accommodation buildings. The property consists of two types of structures: the dome-tent-style “Adventure Dome” for families and groups, and the villa-style “Symphony Villa” designed for dog owners.
Each villa comes with its own experiential activities. For the Adventure Dome, optional paid programs will include “Adventure Night,” in which guests tour the zoo by electric cart after closing time, and “Savanna Terrace Morning,” where guests can enjoy breakfast in the savanna area while watching the animals before the zoo opens. During their stay, guests can freely enter and exit the zoo from check-in day through check-out day. Every building is equipped with a private sauna, a private garden, and dedicated outdoor grilling facilities.
Each Symphony Villa is accompanied by a private dog run of up to approximately 950 square meters, and the facility will regularly host events in which both dog owners and their dogs can participate. In the private dog runs, exercise equipment such as hurdles and tunnels will be available for rent.
As a guideline, the per-person accommodation rate for a room for four guests without meals starts at 18,400 yen for the Adventure Dome and 24,200 yen for the Symphony Villa. Reservations will be accepted through the glamping booking website “Resort Glamping” and the pet-friendly accommodation booking website “Inuyado.”
Access: about 15 minutes by car from Tobu-Dobutsu-Koen Station (Tobu Zoo Station), about 20 minutes from the Kuki Interchange (IC) on the Tohoku Expressway, and about 25 minutes from the Iwatsuki Interchange (IC).
