ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kanazawa will offer the “Amaou Strawberry Afternoon Tea Set – Snowmelt Strawberry” from January 5 to February 28.
Featuring “Amaou,” a premium brand strawberry from Fukuoka Prefecture, the entire presentation evokes melting snow with a white color scheme accented by the vivid red of the strawberries. The sweets selection includes 11 items such as the Amaou “Snowmelt Shortcake,” the “White Strawberry Macaron” inspired by white strawberries and made with strawberry-scented buttercream, the “Strawberry White Verrine” layered with strawberries, milk jelly, and strawberry sauce, the “Pure White Strawberry Roll” rolled with strawberry syrup and strawberry cream, and the “Strawberry White Crêpe” topped with strawberries and strawberry sauce. Savories include a plate with a BLT sandwich, chilled Amaou strawberry soup, and an Amaou canapé, plus a choice of one dish from “Duck and Amaou Strawberry Déclinaison” or “Marinated Amaou Strawberries and Vegetables from Ishikawa Prefecture.” A free-flow of 15 types of beverages is also available.
The venue is the Cascade Lounge. The tea set is served for 120 minutes between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The price is 5,500 yen, including tax and service charge. Reservations are required by the day before.
