GENSEN HOLDINGS will open “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Wanwan Resort Nasu-Shiobara” on March 1.
This will be the first location of this dog-friendly resort series in the Kanto region of Japan. The former Premium Hotel New Shiobara Beauty & Healthy Building has been renovated, and one entire building will be used as a hot spring inn where guests can stay together with their pet dogs. All guest rooms will allow dogs, and some rooms will feature open-air baths. Tatami mats and carpets in the rooms will be replaced, air sterilization and deodorizing machines will be installed, and etiquette items for dogs will be provided.
Inside the facility, two new indoor dog runs will be added, along with a self-grooming corner and photo spots. The “Wanwan Lounge” will offer free drinks for owners and a snack buffet for dogs. Both dinner and breakfast will be served buffet-style, and paid menu items for dogs such as hamburger steak plates, pork sauté, and cakes will also be available.
Access: approximately 25 minutes by car from the Nishi-Nasuno Shiobara Interchange (IC) on the Tohoku Expressway.
