
“Series by Marriott” Launches in Japan, First Hotel Opening in Osaka Shinsaibashi
Nishimatsu Construction and Hotel Okura will open “Okura Resort Hakone Gora” in 2029 in Gora, Hakone, Japan.
The property will consist of a west wing with 3 floors above ground and 3 below, and an east wing with 4 floors above ground. There will be a total of 58 guest rooms: 12 in the west wing and 46 in the east wing. Each balcony will feature an open-air bath fed by the Owakudani hot spring source. Inside the resort, in addition to a large public bath area with indoor baths offering scenic views, a dry sauna, and a mist sauna, there will be two treatment rooms. Dining will center on a fine-dining restaurant with a teppanyaki counter, complemented by a lounge and bar adjacent to the lobby.
Access: approximately 5 minutes by car from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, or about 3 minutes on foot from Chokokunomori Station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car.
