Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Tokyo, Japan will hold a “Strawberry & White Chocolate Sweets Buffet” from March 14 to May 15.
The theme is the arrival of spring. A total of more than 30 items of sweets and savory dishes will be available. Sweets will include a shortcake, strawberry pie, soufflé cheesecake covered with white chocolate, a four-leaf clover-shaped strawberry Baumkuchen coated with white chocolate, and a caterpillar-shaped pistachio mousse, among other strawberry and chocolate creations. Savory items will feature spring vegetables and strawberries, such as tea-smoked duck pintxos and a smoked salmon and strawberry-flavored croissant sandwich.
The venue is the 1st-floor Café & Dining “Chef’s Palette.” Serving hours are from noon to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays, with a 90-minute time limit. Prices are 5,000 yen on weekdays and 5,500 yen on weekends and holidays. Tax included; service charge not included.
