Japan Airlines (JAL) has revamped “EXPRESS MEAL,” its pre-order-only in-flight meal service for international business class, and will offer an “Unagi Gozen” featuring grilled domestically farmed eel (kabayaki) from Godaime Nodaiwa as the main dish.
The serving period runs from March 1 to August 31. Reservations are accepted up to 25 hours before departure. “Unagi Gozen” was also offered between 2022 and 2025, following the launch of the EXPRESS MEAL service.
The eligible routes are medium- and long-haul flights to Europe, North America, and Asia departing from Tokyo/Haneda and Tokyo/Narita. Temporary and charter flights (with some exceptions), tour bookings, codeshare flights under other airlines’ flight numbers, and waitlisted flights are not eligible. (Photo: JAL)
